The monastrell, also known as mataró or mourvèdre, is a variety indigenous of the Iberian Peninsula with strong coastal roots. A vast territory recognized for the warmth of its climate and its people. A combination that gives us a wine true to its origin: intense, fleshy, and with character. The authentic taste of the Mediterranean.
Intense claret-coloured with cherry reflections. Aromas of black fruit (blackberry), pine (with hints of anise) and spice (sweet pepper), on a subtle background of balsamic and toasted oak notes. On the palate, it is quite structured and boasts good body and a fruity, persistent finish.
