The graciano is an ancestral variety perfectly suited to the mountainous regions of the north of the Iberian Peninsula. The south-facing steep slopes it is grown on provide the ideal conditions for optimum ripening of the fruit. An essential requirement for the production of this red wine boasting an intense colour, pleasant aromas and excellent acidity.
An intense claret-coloured red wine with vibrant violet reflections. In the nose, notes of forest fruits are apparent on a subtle background of violets, spices (black pepper), wood, leather and cocoa. We also sense the bitter almond characteristic of the variety. In the mouth it is sweet and salty, with mature tannins and a slightly smoky finish.
